Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for complex capital equipment systems.
• Create accurate and detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks (required).
• Collaborate with electrical, software, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous product improvement efforts.
• Support the full lifecycle of machine development — from concept through manufacturing and installation.
• Resolve engineering issues during build, test, and field deployment stages.
• Ensure all designs adhere to industry and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably in capital equipment or industrial automation.
• Proven expertise in SolidWorks — including assemblies, PDM, and drawing standards.
• Experience with complex machine builds, motion systems, pneumatics, and precision mechanisms.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including machining, welding, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the design of laser systems, CNC machinery, or automation equipment.
• Familiarity with GD&T, FEA tools, and DFM/DFA best practices.
